It's weird that potions in Divinity: Original Sin 2 can bring you back to life from near death. By near death, we mean a sliver of health left which surprisingly does not incapacitate your character. Which is why during one segment of the game, particularly in the Sanctuary of Amadia in Act 1, it's odd seeing wounded incapacitated fighters seemingly getting revived with mere potions and restoration skills alone. It looked e
Once again, Larian Studios has brought about an incremental change rather than a complete overhaul. Although there were still plenty of dialogue options open to users throughout their Divinity: Original Sin adventure, with the added novelty of co-op players being able to choose different options throughout the course of the game, this appears to have been expanded once more for the sequel. Both the player character and their party members are able to pick and choose from a variety of options during conversations, relating to their class in-game or even to their backstory and race. The amount of detail that was put into Divinity: Original Sin II is impressive, to say the least. One aspect that may go unnoticed to some, but is greatly appreciated by those who like to get themselves immersed in RPGs like these are the interacti
Suddenly, when it comes to your incapacitated companions in combat, you're required to use a Resurrect spell or scroll in order to bring them back into the combat. It's possible to start a small romance side story with her, but it will take most of the game for the player to actually see her again. As a result, Butter isn't really the most engaging partner to have in the game, even if her story might serve as a fun distract

It's perhaps emblematic of a particular change of design in general - that being the role of the player character. In Divinity: Original Sin , and in its later enhanced edition , the player had a somewhat limited choice of character options, but this sequel certainly broadens the scope dramatically. In this early access version, players are given the option of being Human, Elf, Lizard, or Dwarf, and can either create an avatar from scratch or choose from a selection of pre-written charact
